Billing Options
During our first meeting, after a thorough review of your case, we offer you various billing options. We are committed to presenting the most advantageous fee structure for you. To specify the terms of fee determination, a fee agreement will be established between Cabinet Mikaël Le Bot and the client.
Legal Protection Insurance
If you have legal protection through an insurance policy, please note that the firm’s fees may be partially or fully covered by the insurance company.
Compensation and Fee Reimbursement
Under the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Code of Civil Procedure, a court may order the opposing party to partially or fully reimburse the fees and expenses incurred during legal proceedings.
Fee Determination Methods
Flat Fee
We can set a global fee for handling the entire case, subject to the occurrence of new and unforeseeable events.
Hourly Rate
Fees are determined based on time spent, by multiplying the number of hours by a pre-agreed hourly rate.
Success-Based Fee
Although the law prohibits linking the entirety of fees to the outcome, we can agree on a fixed portion and a portion equal to a percentage of the result obtained.
Retainer Agreement
This method is rare for individuals but may apply to professionals. It involves a monthly/quarterly payment in exchange for handling various cases over time.

Rates and Consultation
We adapt our rates to the financial situation of our clients. Transparent flat fees are offered, determined in advance based on the time required for the case.
Costs and disbursements necessary for the proceedings are borne by the client. We also accept cases under legal protection insurance, offering you freedom of choice in selecting your attorney.
Before entrusting us with your case, a remote legal consultation is available, with rates ranging from 180 EUR to 400 EUR (excl. VAT), depending on the time spent. A prior quote can be requested for this service.
